This Privacy Policy applies to the SubmitKit application (referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created and operated by SubmitKit / JayCo GK (referred to as "Service Provider"). The Application is provided as a freemium service and is intended for use "AS IS".
This policy describes what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices you have. By downloading or using the Application, you agree to the practices described here.

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This includes:
The Application does not gather precise location information from your mobile device.
When you import technique videos into the Application, we process and store:
SubmitKit uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. We do not collect or store your payment card details. RevenueCat processes subscription status, App Store transaction identifiers, and device identifiers used to restore purchases. See RevenueCat's privacy policy linked in Section 6.
The Service Provider uses the information collected to:
SubmitKit uses the Claude API, provided by Anthropic, PBC, to automatically classify technique videos when you import them. This is a core feature of the Application.
Anthropic's use of data submitted via their API is governed by their own API usage policy and privacy notice. All AI processing is performed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
Your API credentials are stored exclusively on our secure backend servers and are never embedded in the Application binary distributed to your device.
Only aggregated, anonymised data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties as described in this policy.

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.
If you delete your account:
Subscription transaction records may be retained for longer periods as required by applicable tax or financial regulations. If you would like the Service Provider to delete your User Provided Data before that time, please contact jason@submitkit.net and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the App Store.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13.
If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be deleted from our servers immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at jason@submitkit.net.
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain, including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

JayCo GK is incorporated in Japan. Our service providers, including Anthropic and Google (Firebase), may process data in the United States or other countries. We take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for any cross-border transfers of personal data in accordance with applicable law.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. Where appropriate, we may also send an in-app notification.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
